School Uniform Policy

School uniform is compulsory for all children.

Boys

Blue school sweatshirt, white polo shirt or shirt, grey tailored trousers and black shoes. Branded items with the school logo are available to purchase but are not compulsory. 

Summer uniform: Boys can wear tailored knee length grey shorts between May and October

Girls

Blue school sweatshirt or cardigan, white polo shirt or blouse, grey skirt/grey pinafore dress or tailored grey trousers, black shoes. Branded sweatshirts and cardigans with the school logo are available to purchase but are not compulsory.

Summer uniform: As above or a blue/white checked summer dress or tailored grey knee length shorts may be worn between May and October.

PE

Each week children may have both indoor and outdoor PE as such full PE kits should be in school every week. 

White t-shirt and plain black shorts.  For indoor PE children work in bare feet.  Outdoor PE requires trainers and an appropriate plain black or grey jogging bottoms in colder weather. Branded t-shirts, joggers and hoodies are not permitted. 

Hair that is appropriate for school (severe styles and shaved lines are not appropriate). No jewellery except one stud earring in each ear or religious bangles (Earrings to be removed for PE, religious bangles to be covered with a sweat band.) Please organise ear-piercing at the start of the school holidays to ensure sufficient recovery time for earrings to be removed for PE on return to school. 

Children will be expected to wear their uniform smartly and take pride in their appearance.

Please remember to name all of your child’s belongings. We do not keep a lost property box in school and any items that are named are returned to classes. Unnamed items are passed to the second-hand uniform organisers.
